At Sun Bay Apartments, we want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome and find the information they need easily. We are committed to digital inclusion and are actively working to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Our Commitment
Accessibility is a core part of our mission to provide high-quality housing. We are currently implementing a series of technical updates to ensure that our site is perceivable, operable, and understandable for all visitors, including those using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and other assistive technologies.
Ongoing Work & Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, we recognize that some areas of our site are still undergoing remediation. Below are the current areas we are working to improve:
- Interactive Community Maps: Our current property maps may be difficult to navigate using only a keyboard or screen reader. We are working on a more accessible version; in the meantime, our leasing team is happy to provide a verbal or guided walkthrough of the property layout.
- Virtual Tours: Some of our 360° virtual tours may not yet support full keyboard control or audio descriptions. If you have trouble viewing a tour, please contact us for a personalized video walkthrough or an in-person tour.
- Video Captions: We are currently auditing our YouTube video content to ensure all videos have accurate, synchronized captions.
- PDF Documents: Some older floor plan and lease documents may not be fully optimized for screen readers. We are happy to provide these in an alternative format (such as a Google Doc or Large Print) upon request.
